I was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles and am the product of a single parent; as a result, becoming one myself. After many years of allowing myself to be victimized, I finally turned my life around and became a Practicing Christian.
I first received my "AA" degree from LACC, my "BA" degree from USC, my "MA" degree, and both teaching and administrative credentials from CSUDH. I decided to give back to the community by beginning my teaching years at Centennial High School in Compton, California, with hopes of saving as many lives as possible.
I later reunited and married my teenage boyfriend at 41 years old and gave birth to a baby boy 10 months later, only for that marriage to end seven years later due to psychopathic and toxic behaviors.
Because I have experienced many heartaches, struggles, trials, and tribulations, I decided to write my autobiography and am currently writing my ministry book because I want to change the hearts of many who make poor choices, are fooled or victimized in any situation, used, and taken advantage of. Many females and some males share my story, and they will see their reflections through my writings. Others who exploit them will be forced to see themselves as well and will want to make a change for the betterment of all at stake.
On a lighter side of life, my youngest son and I wrote a children’s book, mostly just for fun. The ultimate theme is to "Treat others the way you want to be treated."
